Flu Vaccines

Our flu vaccine clinics are now open for registration. The flu vaccine scheme has been expanded this year to cover a wider group of people. Please see below groups to see if you qualify for free flu vaccination.

At Risk Groups

The flu vaccine is free to the following at people:

• Aged 65+

• Healthcare Workers

• Pregnant Women

• Those with chronic conditions eg. lung, heart, kidney or liver disease, diabetes, neurological disorders

• Household contacts/carers of at medically vulnerable people

• History of Cancer

• Obesity

  
  

Children aged 2-12

• Children aged 2-12 will be able to avail of the new nasal flu vaccine free of charge.

• The children’s flu vaccine will be available from mid-October.
